How tasks work
Tasks are created automatically when:
- A message arrives and triage classifies it tier 3, 4, or 5. Tier 5 → urgent, tier 3-4 → high.
- A reply-expected watcher fires (you sent a reply 5+ days ago and the recipient never wrote back).
And manually when:
- You click + New task above.
- You ask Postmaster in chat ("remind me to call Sarah Thursday").
Tasks close automatically when:
- You approve & send a draft for the linked message (the action is done).
- You re-tier a message down to 0/1/2 — the task is archived.
- You click Complete or Archive here.
What about Microsoft To Do? Every task in here syncs to your default To Do list within 5 minutes. Mark it done in the To Do app and it reflects back here on the next sync cycle.
PRD §6.6 FR-11.* / iteration 13, 14, 15, 20.
